Galerie Forsblom at CHART ART FAIR

Galerie Forsblom is pleased to participate in the 4th edition of CHART ART FAIR with Finnish painter Susanne Gottberg and Swiss sculptor Not Vital.

A glass, in my eyes, is a clear metaphor for painting: it is an “object used for or capable of holding”. A glass – like a painting – is a receptacle or container into which the viewer pours their gaze and interpretation.

Drawing from the solitude of his native Swiss mountains, Not Vital’s (b. 1948) conceptual works blur the boundaries of reality and the surreal. Moving masterfully between such diverse medias as sculpture, installation, painting and drawing, Vital combines the abstract and the figurative in a harmonious way creating a meditative atmosphere.
