Tilda Lovell (b 1972) works chiefly with site-specific sculptures and installations. In the exhibition, she displays a new spatial installation including sculpture, animation, light and sound. Lovell often works with natural materials such as shells, animal skeletons and bone. During the latest years, her art has been characterized by an exploration of underwater and marine themes, something that she continues to develop in the present exhibition.

“The Sten A Olsson Foundation for Research and Culture has awarded Tilda Lovell a scholarship for 2017 for her sensual and evocative stagings of subconscious landscapes.”
