Galerie Forsblom is delighted to announce participation at ARCOmadrid on February 26–March 1, 2020.
The gallery dedicates one of its two booths to the world-famous Ai Weiwei and his startling Zodiac Series. Ai Weiwei’s Zodiac Lego portrait series is made entirely of colorful Lego pieces and demonstrates the artist’s abiding focus in the zodiac animal concept. The series continues Ai Weiwei’s tendency toward the accumulation of materials, a creative method the artist has employed for many of his best-known works.
In addition to Ai Weiwei, we are proud to show works by Nordic and international artists such as Stephan Balkenhol, Jenny Carlsson, Peter Halley, Secundino Hernández, Jenni Hiltunen, Jason Martin, Riiko Sakkinen, Emanuel Seitz, Kim Simonsson, Toni R. Toivonen and Bernar Venet.
