Galerie Forsblom presents the Finnish artist Jussi Goman’s vivid paintings in a solo presentation at the Market Art Fair 2018. Goman’s acrylic paintings are characterized by light colors and distinct brushstrokes spiced up with squiggles of colorful paint. Recognizable symbols and familiar objects bring humor and a distinctive contemporary vibe to the works.
Jussi Goman (born 1980) is based in Riihimäki, Finland. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki, in 2008. His work is represented in private and museum collections including the Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art and the Helsinki Art Museum. Galerie Forsblom has been representing Jussi Goman since 2016.
