HAM's newest collection exhibition presents works from the Bäcksbacka collection and the museum's contemporary art collection. Among other artists there are Emma Helle and Heikki Marila whose works are present in the collection.
The exhibition aims to create a fresh dialogue between historical modern and more contemporay art works by juxtaposing different approaches under the themes of Habitus, Gaze, The Intimate, Body and Still Life & Landscape. Other artists in the exhibtion include e.g. Louise Bourgeois, Magnus Enckell, Ana Mendieta, Dennis Oppenheim, Jalmari Ruokokoski, Ellen Thesleff.
