Kirsti Tuokko has joined our artist roster

We are delighted to announce that Kirsti Tuokko has joined our roster of artists!

Tuokko is renowned for her intuitive, vibrant, and expressive painting style. Her work explores themes of humanity, focusing on how we dress, pose, and present ourselves to the world. The figures in her paintings are drawn from the pages of fashion magazines, passersby in the streets, and scenes in cafes or exhibition openings. Painting on the reverse side of plexiglass, Tuokko preserves the glossy surface, reminiscent of a luxury fashion magazine. While working, she never peeks at the other side, creating an image purely a product of her mental vision.

​Tuokko’s works are part of several prominent museum collections, and she has completed numerous public art projects. Her exhibition at Galerie Forsblom opens on October 25, 2024.
