This summer, Laukko Manor’s main building will showcase Marianna Uutinen’s work from the past decade.

The iconic acrylic paintings are like living images, changing shape with the time of day and viewing angles. The works find their final meaning as a spatial and spiritual experience in the viewer's mind.

In the historical manor setting, the boundary-breaking three-dimensional materiality and bold synthetic color palette create a fascinating contrast with the exhibition spaces. In Laukko's halls, the baroque extravagance of Uutinen’s art seamlessly merges with the velvet folds of royal canopy beds. In turn, the pastel acrylic draperies of plastic heavens transport visitors to Rococo salons.
